The Herald has her new hardware, and soon she'll have a new look and feel. The Herald will be coming down at 6:00 AM EST on Monday, and she should be back up by 11:00 AM EST. Things might be a little wonky as the thousands of sections and subsections are converted, but we hope you'll like what you see. | |

We've added three megs of data to the "post patcher." After you finish your next game session, you'll be asked if you want to download some optional files. Say yes - because they won't be optional next week, even if you're planning to hold off on installing the expansion, and it's better to avoid the rush and do it today. (If you haven't logged in for a week or so, the total file size on the post patcher is thirteen megs.) Go get 'em! | |

The Herald is getting an upgrade! The hardware adjustment will take place tomorrow, Friday the 3rd, from 8:00 AM EST until approximately 10:00 AM EST. We'll also have some downtime on Monday, December 6th when the new shiny Herald launches - I'll keep you posted. | |

Countdown to Launch - Celebrate With a Movie!:

The movie makers in our community have been busy checking out Catacombs - so as the countdown to launch begins, why not check out Mystr Byrnz' latest hit hosted at the Vault: Catacombs Preview (Mystr is well known to the 2004 Roundtable attendees as the winner of the movie contest - and the talent shows. Great stuff, Mystr B!)
I recommend right clicking the words "Catacombs Preview" and saving the file to your desktop, by the way. It's a big file, but it sure is worth it.
There's another incredible movie coming from Jupek Faithflame, so watch this space for updates. | |

If your account was flagged for access to the beta, but for some reason you had not gotten the files, ask your friends already in the beta to burn you a CD with the files. There's a chill in the air, the leaves have fallen, mall parking lots are completely insane... it must be that time of year. Expansion time! And that means we've tried to make it easy for you to get the expansion patches done before release day (which, as avid Herald readers know, is officially December 7th, and realistically whatever day your local retailer puts the box on the shelf). We have put up our "post game patcher." After you log out, the game will ask if you'd like to download about 10 MB of files. If you're planning to play after 1.73 goes live, say yes. We'll put another batch up in a few days. If you say yes both times, you'll beat the patch day rush and sail right into the game.
